SDM Electrical Switchboards Botswana based in Gaborone West Industrial Sites began its operations in February 2003. The primary objective was of providing the local market with Electrical Control and Distribution products not readily available in Botswana.
Until then the majority of such items were imported mainly from South Africa and after extensive surveys with prospective local clients (whom are now clients of SDM Electrical Switchboards Botswana) were pleased that these products could be obtained locally.
